Assam Oil Scool of Nursing offers three years Diploma course of General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) with free of cost. Along with this students are also paid a good amount of monthly stipend during the period of three years course. AOSN is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) a statutory body under Government of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare constituted by the Central Government under section 3 (1) of the Indian Nursing Council Act 1947 and also recognised by Assam Nursing Council and Assam Government. The students are required to undergo work internship of one year at the IOCL(AOD) Hospital after completion of their three years course of GNM. During the course of this internship, a considerable amount stipend is also paid to these working intern along with a suitable accommodation facilities.
Assam Oil College of Nursing offers four years of degree course of B.Sc.Nursing with free of cost. Along with this the students are also paid a good amount of monthly stipend during their four years of course. Assam Oil College of Nursing is affiliated to Srimanata Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences, Guwahati and recognised by Indian Nursing Council and Assam Nursing Council and Govt. of Assam as well. After completion of four years of B.Sc. Nursing degree the passed out students are required to undergo one year of work internship at IOCL(AOD) Hospital, Digboi. During the course of this internship a considerable amount of stipend is also paid along with a suitable accommodation facilities.
