37th Foundation Day of AOSN along with Pledge taking and Graduation Ceremony celebrated at Assam Oil College of Nursing and Assam Oil School of Nursing, Digboi on 4th June 2022. The program was started at 8:00 am with AOSN & AOCN Flag hoisting by Dr. Bhanu Hazarika, DGM I/C (HSE-Medical) in front of the AOCN new building followed by School song, cake cutting and enlightened speech. The main programme of Foundation day, Pledge taking and Graduation Ceremony was started at 10:00 am at Golden Jubilee Auditorium. The occasion was graced by Sri S.K.Das, CGM (T), IOCL (AOD), Sri K. Basumatary, GM (HR), Sri A.K.Sutar, DGM, (F), Dr. Bhanu Hazarika, DGM i/c (HSE-Med), Sri P.K Deori DGM(EMS), members of IOOA & AOC labour union, members of medical department ,faculties, students, non teaching staff of AOCN &AOSN and parents of the students. The assembly was welcomed with a stunning invocation dance and welcome address by the principal AOCN & AOSN.
Nightingale pledge was given to both B.Sc.(N) & GNM 1st year students in the assembly, flowed by School song. Ms Adity Gogoi was felicitated with a special academic award for securing university 1st rank in final Examination. Ms Bidyutparna Baruah & Ms Anisha Bora were also felicitated with academic award for securing university 7th & 10th position. Four GNM students were felicitated for securing more than 75% in council final Examination. B.Sc.(N) Graduates were felicitated with provisional certificates & RN/RM. The GNM graduates were felicitated with provisional certificates. Two graduates shared their experiences on the occasion.

The program was charmed with the speeches given by Sri S.K.Das, CGM (T), IOCL (AOD), Sri K. Basumatary, GM (HR), Sri A.K.Sutar, DGM, (F), Dr. Bhanu Hazarika, DGM i/c (HSE-Med). The program was successfully ended with a duet song and a Bihu dance by the students of AOSN & AOCN and vote of thanks by the Vice- Principal, AOSN & AOCN.
